Disclaimer
Plain-English statement of what BigPeptideList is, what it isn't, and how to use the information responsibly.
Not medical advice
The content on BigPeptideList is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information presented here should not be used to start, stop, or alter any medication or therapy without consulting a qualified, licensed healthcare provider familiar with your medical history.
Do not rely on dosing, indications, or contraindications listed here to make personal medical decisions. Verify every consequential claim against the manufacturer's prescribing information and a prescriber familiar with your case before acting on it.
Editorial independence
BigPeptideList is independently edited. We accept no payment for inclusion of any peptide, no affiliate revenue from clinical-content pages, and no sponsorship from peptide retailers, compounding pharmacies, or research-chemical suppliers. The presence or absence of any product on the site reflects editorial judgment alone.
If we ever introduce sponsored placement or affiliate links, the site will mark such content explicitly and update this page.
Regulatory status changes frequently
Peptide regulation is in active flux. Status pages on this site reflect our best read of the most recent FDA Federal Register notices and Drugs@FDA listings at the time of publication. The site focuses on the United States; we don't publish jurisdiction-specific status outside the US.
Status can change between our last review and your visit. Before relying on a regulatory claim — for purchasing, prescribing, or compounding decisions — verify the live status on FDA Federal Register and Drugs@FDA.
Research-use peptides
Many peptides discussed on the site are sold as "research chemicals" or "not for human consumption." That labeling is a regulatory artifact, not a safety claim. We describe what published literature says, what the regulatory status is, and what side effects have been reported — we do not endorse self-administration of any unapproved peptide.
Evidence tiers
Each peptide entry carries an evidence tier:
- A — Multiple peer-reviewed RCTs in humans, or FDA approval for at least one indication.
- B — Limited human trials, observational data, or strong mechanistic case backed by preclinical work.
- C — Primarily animal data, in-vitro studies, or anecdotal reports. Use of these peptides is exploratory.
The tier is intended as a quick read on how much published human evidence exists, not as a recommendation.
